JOB CLASSIFICATION
GRIEVANCE UPDATE
Brothers, sisters, friends:
This bulletin is to update members on our ongoing job classification grievance regarding the LNG vessels and the compensation we are requesting for members who have worked or are working on those vessels.
Our LNG/dual fuel job classification grievance which started in 2017, with the introduction of the Salish vessels, had the initial hearing on January 19th – 22nd, 2021. The arbitration was not completed within these days and we will be continuing the arbitration on the following dates:
- December 13, 2021
- March 3 & 4, 2022
- April 12, 13 & 14, 2022
