GOFUNDME FOR LYTTON

Hello Friends,

As you know communities in Lytton have been devastated by a fire and over 200 wildfires continue to burn in British Columbia. Many have suffered the loss of their homes, pets, livestock and livelihoods and our thoughts are with those who have been affected.

The Indigenous community and Tuckkwiowhum Village has organized a GoFundMe effort along with partners in the Fraser Valley to raise funds and collect donations on behalf of those who have suffered losses by the Lytton wildfire.

Our friend and affiliate organization, the BCFED, have made a generous donation to support the community and we know how generous BCFMWU members are. Every dollar counts, if you would like to contribute to the fund please visit BCGoFundMe.

The BCFMWU would also like to acknowledge the hard working fire fighters and emergency service workers who are working tirelessly and risking their safety to bring the fires under control.
