DAY OF THE SEAFARER
#DayoftheSeafarer is Friday, June 25, 2021. A day of recognition highlighting the efforts of the many seafarers who work in the marine industry along our coast. On June 25th at 1200, the Union is encouraging ships in ports to sound their horns for a #FairFuture4Seafarers and #Safety4Sea.
Furthermore, the Union is asking members for any photos that represent our seafarers for use in a social media posting. Send your photos in to be considered for inclusion in our Day of the Seafarer public posting.
Deadline for photos is Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Please send all photos for consideration to LexiJabbour@bcfmwu.com.
By sending in your photos you are giving BC Ferry & Marine Workers’ Union the rights of use for Day of the Seafarer campaigns.
