A heartbreaking day for our coastal community

We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life near the Horseshoe Bay terminal yesterday. Our members are trained to respond in emergencies, and we are grateful and proud of the assistance they offered. We know this tragedy deeply affected every member at the terminal. We also acknowledge the broader transit community, including TransLink workers, who will be feeling the weight of this event. Our hearts go out to the families, the community and to everyone touched by this heartbreaking tragedy, including emergency services and first responders.
