BCFMWU CONTINUED SUPPORT
FOR FRONTLINE AND HEALTHCARE WORKERS

BC Ferry & Marine Workers’ Union stands in solidarity with all health care and frontline workers. Health care workers have worked tirelessly through this pandemic. They have risked their own lives to make sure Canadians are looked after and cared for. To the health care workers and frontline workers here in British Columbia, we stand with you.

We stand against any forms of harassment, including political protests, that make health care and frontline workers days or nights harder. Any forms of harassment directed at members of the health care field, or any other worker in British Columbia, must stop. All workers have the right to a harassment free workplace and personal life. Any form of assault upon workers going to and from work or during work hours must stop.  Whether it be the worker at your local grocery store, the person that brews your coffee, or the x-ray technician at the hospital, all are entitled to a workplace free of harassment.

The BC Ferry & Marine Workers’ Union stands with all workers in solidarity, through COVID and beyond. An assault to one is an assault to all.
