We’re looking for Barnston Island Ferry members who are interested in stepping into leadership roles and helping shape your first collective agreement.

We need:

Local union leadership (3 positions)
You will also act as shop stewards. You’ll help represent your coworkers, be a go-to for workplace questions or concerns, and keep people informed.

Bargaining committee (2 positions)
You’ll work with union staff to get ready for bargaining and help negotiate your first collective agreement with Western Pacific Marine.

Once we’ve got the names, we’ll hold a vote. It’ll be online and you’ll get details well ahead of time via email.
