Union Bargaining Update
The following update is provided for the information of BCFMWU members only. Please do not post on bulletin boards or share on social media.
Beginning on Monday, October 23, 2023 your Union and the Employer will convene with the Permanent Collective Bargaining Dispute Resolution Panel to come to resolve on the General and Special wage negotiations that began in August 2023.
Over the past weeks and months our expert reports have been refined, our economist, legal Counsel, and our Central Negotiating Committee have been finalizing your position and basis for a general wage increase and targeted special increases for Union positions at BC Ferries to make it abundantly clear, we deserve more.
As the situation develops updates will be provided directly to the membership via email and at www.bcfmwu.com in the members area.
