Union Bargaining Update AMENDMENT
The following update is provided for the information of BCFMWU members only. Please do not post on bulletin boards or share on social media.
Since Bargaining Update #4 your bargaining team has done something that has not been done in the history of our Union.
We have formally notified the panel in Article 35.02 that we have reached impasse during general and special wage negotiations with the employer and are seeking assistance in breaking the deadlock on wages for you, the Unionised employees of BC Ferries.
The Central Negotiating Committee will continue to update the membership as appropriate information can be relayed.
