Bargaining Update #17

ADDRESSING FACTUAL ERRORS IN AWARD AND UPCOMING TOWN HALL MEETINGS

I am writing to provide you with an important update regarding our recent bargaining efforts.

As many of you are aware, we have been diligently advocating on behalf of our members to secure fair and just terms. While we have made significant progress, there are some factual errors present in the awarded terms of the Dispute Resolution Panel that we feel compelled to address.

These errors, though minor in nature, are nonetheless important for accuracy and transparency. We have brought these discrepancies to the attention of our legal counsel, and we are actively working to have them corrected. It’s crucial to note that these corrections will not impact the outcome or terms of the award. Once rectified, the updated award will be promptly posted on the Union website for your review.

Furthermore, in order to ensure that everyone is informed and has an opportunity to ask questions or express concerns, we will be scheduling town hall meetings in the coming days.

These meetings will provide a platform for open discussion and clarification on the bargaining process and the implications of the award.

We understand that clarity and accuracy are paramount, and we remain committed to ensuring that your rights and interests are represented accurately throughout this process.

Thank you for your ongoing support and patience as we navigate these final steps in the bargaining process. Please stay tuned for further updates on the scheduled town hall meetings,
and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
