Union Bargaining Update
The following update is provided for the information of BCFMWU members only. Please do not post on bulletin boards or share on social media.
While the parties intended to have a case management meeting this week to secure future dates the effort is awaiting Dispute Resolution Panel members availability.
As of Friday, November 3, 2023, no additional dates for the Permanent Bargaining Dispute Resolution Panel (DRP) have been confirmed. In an effort to expedite the procedurally frustrating process our BCFMWU Central Negotiating Committee has been assisting BCFS, as they were unable to source Collective Agreements your Union and external supports have used for wage benchmarking.
As soon as dates are confirmed for the General and Special wage negotiations for the DRP to continue, Union membership will be advised.
