Union Bargaining Update
The following update is provided for the information of BCFMWU members only. Please do not post on bulletin boards or share on social media.
After the five days scheduled for the Dispute Resolution Panel meeting, the evidence and cross examination has not completed as of Friday, October 27, 2023. This is an unfortunate situation and requires that the three Panel members and parties (Union & Employer) find additional dates to complete the general and special wage hearing.
What this means is that the decision from the panel on wages affecting Union members will see a delay.
As updates become available a new bargaining bulletin will be provided to membership via email and at www.bcfmwu.com in the members area.
