• The full-time BCFMWU officers are BCFMWU President Richard Goode and SOC President Brett Joyce.
• The BCFMWU constitutional convention - held every three years - is the supreme policy-making body of the union;
• The BCFMWU's governing body between conventions is the Provincial Executive;
• The BCFMWU Provincial Executive is comprised of the President, the Treasurer, 1st and 2nd Vice-Presidents, Deas Component President, Deck Representative, Engineering Representative, and 11 local unlicensed Presidents.
